Biographical Information:

Dr Lai Xu is a lecturer in the Software Systems Research Centre at Bournemouth University , UK. Previously she was a Senior Researcher at SAP research , Switzerland. Previously, she worked as a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO ICT Centre, Australia. She was a post-doctoral researcher at the Organisation and Information Group of the Institute of Information and Computing Sciences of the Utrecht University , The Netherlands and at the Artificial Intelligence group of the Department of Computer Science of the Free University Amsterdam , The Netherlands. She received her Ph.D. in Computerized Information Systems from Tilburg University , the Netherlands in 2004. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is "Monitoring Multi-party Contracts for E-business". Before she joined Infolab of Tilburg University (1999-2003), she worked as a research at the National Key Laboratory on Integrated Services Networks (1996-1999) and at the Information Science Institute (1992-1996) with Xidian University, China.
